It's Fall Fundraising Time!

Fall means fundraising at La Escuelita San Marcos! This year, our Annual Fundraising Dinner will be held at the new beautiful venue The Rafters at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Huntersville. The dinner will be "drop-in" style, with a slideshow and music playing in the background. This year's focus is fellowship and "Turning the Page on a New Year". Diners will be able to choose a carryout option or dine-in. For more information about this year's fundraisers, detailed below, please see St. Mark's November newsletter.

See below for all the relevant order forms for the dinner, the raffle and wreaths.

1. Dinner Form: All orders for the Escuelita Dinner need to be submitted by 11/15. After this date orders will be cut off. Flyin’ Lion is donating 12 pies that can be purchased that night on a first come first serve basis. Pies are $12 each: 3 of each: pumpkin, cranberry, dutch apple, chocolate bourbon pecan.

2. Raffle: Instead of a live auction this year, we will be selling raffle tickets for various gift baskets made by our committees (types of baskets are listed on the order form linked below). Tickets are $5 each. Buy raffle tickets for the specific baskets you would like to be in the drawing for. You do not need to be present to win. Winners will be picked on the night of the dinner (Nov 20). Winners will be notified

3. Wreath order Form: As you probably know, we will not be selling trees this year due to a shortage. Wreaths are available for purchase through November 21st. No orders will be taken after this time. Wreaths will be available for pick up at St. Mark’s on Sunday November 28th. Checks should be made out to La Escuelita San Marcos. Payments must be made before orders can be placed. Wreaths are 24” for $25 and 32” for $30.

4. Thanksgiving Pies. This fundraiser does not benefit La Escuelita. It benefits the Flyin’ Lion transition to employment ministry, one of our partners. Pies can be ordered from now until November 19th for pick up on 11/23 and 11/24 until 4pm. Pies are $12 each: Dutch Apple, Pumpkin, Cranberry, Chocolate Bourbon Pecan. If there are checks for these pies, checks should be made out to St. Mark’s and note: Flyin’ Lion in the memo line.
