Once Upon a Time....

La Escuelita San Marcos has served Spanish-speaking children ages 2-5 and their families in Huntersville and the greater North Mecklenburg area for the past seven years. 

The preschool was founded in collaboration with La Escuelita San Alban in Cornelius and La Escuelita Weekday School on Park Road in Charlotte.

Today, the three schools, known as "Las Escuelitas" - The Little Schools - operate independently from one another except for informal support.

An early friendship with Charlotte Bilingual sped the development of LESM's Mama Maestra parent collaboration program.
